About Zydo
The rich heritage of Italian jewelry-making is alive and well with Zydo. This is one of the few jewelry houses that designs, samples and crafts all of their rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets in Italy. Zydo is a family owned and operated business and has a long tradition of jewelry making. Zydo company was started in 1972 by David Zybert, who is now joined by his sons in running the business.
Taking a cue from their homeland, opulence, sensual shapes and glamour are a staple of the Zydo collection. Zydo styles are recognized for their highly unusual and creative designs and have been seen on celebrities like Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Joan Collins.
What makes these jewels so precious? It's the gems and the design. While Zydo designs are modern, innovative , exciting and new, they also hold on strong to classic ideals in jewelry design. In a sense, it's timeless. A beautiful piece of art is appreciated in any era and never goes in and out of vogue. Zydo jewelry is much the same. It is created so elegantly and with such precision, that although it may invoke a current trend, it is never showy enough to lose it's grounding in antiquity.
